do you have a sense at this point compared to pastors even of what might happen in front of you

no i mean so two years ago kind of knew that one pretty good um last year didn't know you know

there's a lot of space in between one and 29 um but um this year i mean we talked about it

i think a little bit in phoenix but it's it's hard to really understand or not figure out where

everything's going to go you know where everybody's going to go and man you hear something new every

day right so um and really everybody, nobody's telling the truth.

So, but what we do is we trust our board, trust our evaluations, and, and be ready to pick or do whatever we need to do with that pick.

And so, um, I do know this.

Like if we're sitting there at seven and we do pick, I know we'll get a good player.

You know, before, um, he got started yesterday, he just thanked a lot of people for all the work

that they did. He also loved the new uniforms and talked about that briefly. But a lot of

their analytics people, their information people, they do a lot of work in preparation for this draft.

Of course, the scouts are working on this year round.

But they also, you know, do these mock simulations, you know, which are much easier to do today than they were back in the day.

I remember Charlie Casserly telling me, and he's told me this a lot of times over the years,

you know, pre or post-draft, and we'll try to get Charlie on after the draft.

I think sometimes getting some of the really super sharp guys on afterwards is better

because we know who we have and they can give you their analysis of the

players that are actually going to play for the team.

But Charlie used to say that they paid attention to Mel Kuyper.

They paid attention to, and, you know, Mel was the number one draft, you know, guy and mock drafter forever. And that started this

incredible industry of draft experts or so-called experts draft mock guys. And they would pay
