Four years ago today, 2222, four years ago today, that highly anticipated, well- orchestrated,

high-energy, bouncy, lively introduction on the today show of our football team's new name and new logo,

the commanders.

Of course, it really wasn't high energy or well orchestrated. It was one of the most embarrassing marketing slash PR debuts of anything important by a big organization I think anybody's ever seen.

Still to this day, not happy about them putting Doug Williams in that spot.

But what's done is done.

Good morning, everybody.

It's Super Bowl week.

We might get to some Super Bowl trivia today, but more likely than not, we'll start that tomorrow.

I had Scott Turner on my podcast on Friday. It was a long, he spent over an hour with me,

and I'm going to play back 20 minutes of it today on the radio show. He was good. I mean, Scott,

you know, spent his

formative years here in Washington with his dad, Norv, who was the head coach here in the 90s.

He grew up here, went to high school here, went to Oakden High School in Fairfax County,

has all of those memories of his dad's teams and what the market was like back then rooting for

the Redskins.

And then obviously he was the offensive coordinator under Ron Rivera here for three years in 2020,

2021 and 2022.

And that's the part we're going to get into.
