In irrational fear in the news, there are aggressive monkeys on the loose in Mississippi.

And a quick reminder, I believe Greg has said this before on air, but his irrational fear of primates is up there with mimes.

Yes, it is.

Those are my two biggest irrational fears, mimes and primates.

And lettuce.

Well, so it happened when a truck overturned, allowing the release of the experimental monkeys to escape.

They were being transported from Tulane University.

Authorities believe one is still on the loose.

Now, originally the reports that came out said that these monkeys were infected with herpes, hep C, and COVID.

But since then, they've said, actually, no, we don't think that they are.

What are the chances we get aliens and rise of the planet of the apes all in the same day?

Same day, it would be incredible.

So one of them they thought was a hurt monkey, but they don't know. Not the Right. It's a hippo thing probably. Yes. Yeah. They said, don't worry about it. They're just really aggressive and one's on the loose. Here's one witness, Scotty Ray Boyd. We don't need to be too close to these. We've got law enforcement with guns here where we are. And there's a reason for that.

Each one of the crates have monkeys in it. We have one that's escaped on that side of the road.

There's a second monkey, Greg. You might want to be careful. He's on the prowl there.
