So Mike Florio, a pro football talk.

He was on Tommy Curran's Patriots Talk podcast.

And he talked about the NFL wanting to expand

the season to 18 games. That's not anything that's new that we've heard, but there's a caveat

for players that I find very interesting. Here he is. This is the little twist. I haven't heard

that this is definitely going to happen, but I know it's out there. And I think

this is the way to deliver the average player onto this idea of 18 games. 18 game season,

every player with limited exceptions is capped at 17 games. That's the way to get the players

to vote yes on the new CBA. I don't have to play more than 17 games.

It's an 18 game season, and I don't have to play more than 17.
