All right, welcome to the show. This is episode six of the

H.P. outdoors waterfowl podcast. I'm your host Josh Palm and I'm joined as

always by my co-host Dan Horushky, Dan how are you?

I'm doing well, the temperature's starting to cool down a little bit,

and it's, you know, it's feeling like goose and duck season should.

So I'm, you know, I'm excited.

Yeah, it definitely feels like it's, you know, the time of year we all wait for and

looking forward to seeing some birds pushing down south and here in Virginia we've got

our four-day early duck season starting up you know next

next Friday so four days of getting after them and then we got to wait again

until mid-November but looking forward to getting going here next weekend.

Yep, we start Saturday as Duck and Goose comes back in for us.

So, yep, it's time to clean the gun from the early season and get out and about.

Yeah, I'm actually, you know, normally this time of year in between splits and stuff like that,

I'm getting the bow out and doing a little archery hunting but it's usually still pretty warm down here

this time of the year so hopefully this front that we had come through this weekend

sticks around and I can bear a little time in the deer stand before it's time to get back

on the ducks real hard.
