Hope summer's going as well for you as it is for me.

Today it finds me in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the headquarters

of Silence or Central. This summer, I ended up doing a lot of communicating back and forth

with Silence or Central, with their lobbyists, because the big beautiful beautiful bill as you want to call it that

that passed this summer had incorporated some things trying to get the Hearing Protection Act a lot of

you call it HPA incorporated in it and there's a whole lot of reasons why it ended up where it was and and uh silence or central

is one of the one of the groups putting a lot of effort into that trying to get it passed uh we got

the stamp the 200 dollar stamp fee removed uh but we got more work to do because uh uh, we got to simplify and, uh, move some of

these restrictions on the ownership of suppressors.

and I swapped some emails and had the chance to visit on some of this stuff
