Good morning my friends. It is time once again for the morning mindset. I hope that you're ready.

If you're not ready, if you feel like it's just been kind of hurried rushed morning or hurried

rushed time of getting ready for whatever's ahead in your day to stop for a moment

close your eyes take a deep breath just let it out let your body relax so that you can clear your mind to receive the

truth of God this one. That's not my voice that's some magical, don't know, some magical thing to help you get your mind

aligned. It's the word of God that we're going to be reading and studying today that is going

to help you get your mind aligned. I want to focus in on one small little

phrase at the end of verse number two of 1st Peter chapter one. If you haven't

noticed we have begun a new study through First Peter.

I encourage you to go back a few episodes and listen to the introduction to First

Peter and then move forward so that you don't miss a day of this great study of this powerful little book.

At the end of verse number two, Peter kind of says a wishful statement, something he hopes

for the people who are reading this book.

He says, may grace and peace be multiplied to you.

Now when you hear someone say a phrase in the scripture that begins with may this happen or may

that happen is really like a prayer it's the writer expressing what they want for those individuals.

And so Peter is asking the Lord to give his readers grace and peace, and not just to give it to them,

but to multiply it to them.

Now you understand multiplication in contrast to addition right

addition is adding one to another to another to another to another. Multiplying

is taking one or more things and you know multiplying I don't even know a better word for it

it just it gets bigger and bigger by leaps and bounds and that's what Peter is
