0:21.4	More than 38 million people have filed for unemployment after 2.4 million more Americans
0:27.3	apply within the last week.
0:30.1	Still, the country is reopening.
0:32.7	And as Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer, President Trump is pledging that the country
0:37.4	will not close down again,
0:39.0	even if the virus resurges in the fall.
0:42.0	We're not going to close the country.
0:43.3	We're going to put out the fires.
0:44.4	Whether it's an ember or a flame, we're going to put it out.
0:47.3	But we're not closing our country.
0:50.1	But with the virus far from contained the fight over whether further action needs to be taken,
0:55.3	or if more action is needed at all, is just getting underway in Washington.
0:59.4	Although many Republicans have doubts, President Trump pledged that another stimulus was coming.
1:04.8	If we will, I think we're going to be helping people out.
1:07.9	We're going to be getting some money for them during the artificial,
1:16.3	because it really is. It's an artificial closure. But I would say there could be one more nice shot.
