This is the Guardian this is today in focus extra edition with me Michael Safi

this evening the world holds its breath as Israel plans its response to an

unprecedented missile attack by Iran.

The Iranian strike involved hundreds of missiles that lit up the sky,

leaving blast craters in Israel 8 meters deep.

The attacks were greeted with celebrations in Tehran, and from the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a vow that Iran had made a big mistake and would pay for it. To make sense of what just happened and what happens now I'm joined by the
