How will a global economic crash affect U.S. real estate is what we're going to talk about today.

0:08.4

And it might not be what you think. There's a lot happening. Yeah, there's a lot happening all over the world right now.

0:14.4

And it's really impacting different economies. Right now, the U.S. economy is doing fairly well. I mean, there's talks where there's a slowdown. We have seen more layoffs. But overall, our economy is doing much better than the rest of the world's economies.

0:28.6

We're doing well. But it's interesting because, you know, they say when the U.S. sneezes, the world gets a cold.

0:37.1

Yeah. I mean, it is true. I mean, and that's kind of what, you know,

0:41.2

everyone thinks whenever anybody's looking at the housing market or, you know, the recession and everything

0:47.6

else, everyone looks locally or nationally. And that is important to do because real estate markets are

0:53.1

local. However, you also have to remember that the U.S that is important to do because real estate markets are local. However,

1:20.9

into the bank and, you know, maybe you're listening to your financial advisor ever once in a while.

1:26.0

But once you start to dig in,

1:27.8

and certainly when you start to make money, what you start to see is big business, big private

1:34.9

equity, family office, high net worth, they think very differently. They think worldly. They

1:41.7

put money in different economies and different countries and they do it specifically

1:47.2

based on inflation, unemployment, the strength of the dollar, the instability of their own currency,

1:54.6

the instability of their economy. And so, you know, so it's just really, really important to understand the flows of

2:03.7

cash, big cash. Essentially, you know, foreign investments in the U.S. commercial real estate is

2:10.0

expected to rise in 2025. The U.S. is a safe haven currency. And I think that's really important
