intro short. The way that this episode came about today was incidentally, it came from the

Patril members on the Facebook group. It's this, I don't think I talk about this group very much,

but it's a place where I post extra stuff. People often post pictures and

conversations about Paris and Leslie Raynor, or Leslie Raynor, perhaps. She shared a picture

and a story from her first time in Paris 51 years ago. It got me thinking. This is a topic

I want to delve a little bit deeper in, but on a recent trip to Sweden, where Lena is from, my wife,

we're talking about our early trips to Paris with our whole family, and her dad and mom told a

really fun story, and I asked them if they'd share it. So you're going to hear Lena's dad,

Yacob, sharing the story of how he and his wife managed to fake their way into a fashion show on one of their

first trips to the city of lights. Now, I just want to add, Lena's dad plays the double bass,

so the music you're about to hear was from him. After the episode, I said, hey, just play

something Paris-y. You guys who really know Paris will recognize the tune. Otherwise, I'll
