Summary

We have all heard the common excuses for not joining the pro-life movement: "I'm not a conservative." "I'm a man - I can't say anything about abortion." "Well, that's your science. I have my own." It's so tragic when people will use just about any reason to avoid becoming sold-out, unapologetic advocates for life. Today, let's tackle these excuses and misunderstandings and discuss ways that we can respond with love and facts!

I'm not a conservative.

0:42.3

Okay, well I didn't say you had to be a conservative to be pro-life.

0:53.3

Every single person, regardless of their

0:55.8

background, has a seat at the table and deserves a right to live. And I think anyone can

acknowledge the rights of human beings to live. That's what politics is actually supposed to do.

It's supposed to help ensure human flourishing. It's supposed to

1:11.9

protect citizens of a local area, of one area. So you don't have to be conservative to be pro-life.

1:30.7

Democratic platform has moved from safe, legal, and rare, that phrase that Bill Clinton coined in the

1:37.7

90s to convince my grandparents to vote for them to now birthday abortions are fine. And maybe even inf Fancy's, you know, a few hours after birth

is fine too. They've also made it exceedingly clear that if you are pro-life, if you're

1:52.1

anti-abortion in any way, you are not welcome in their party, which eliminates, quite frankly,

1:57.6

the voices of thousands as over a third of registered Democrats are pro-life voters.
