The Scott Fish Bowl is just around the corner.

Some of the drafts are only a week or so away for some of those people drafting live.

And I am joined today on the Road of his Fantasy Football podcast to talk alongside

Ryan McDowell. We're going to dive into a lot of different areas. I sent out a tweet looking for

some questions. It kind of turned into a listener mailbag episode, but lots of people interested.

I want to kick this off. I'm going to do the, you know, the introduction to

the show and welcome Ryan and, you know, say thank you for jumping aboard. And then I want to ask

him, how many teams are we up to here in SFB 15? Oh, man. Well, first of all, thanks for

having me on. I excited to jump on here with you again, head to you know know i love that about the NFL offseason that we

get to catch up yeah on uh on these uh you know there's there's actually not a set number this year

um but we do try to at least slightly increase the little number of players every year.

And I think this year we're going to be right around that 5,000 mark of players in SB,

which of course sounds crazy to think of a fantasy football league with that many people.

But when you factor in that we have over 50,000 people signed up for this thing,

that number suddenly shrinks in comparison.

So, yeah, hopefully we're going to get about 10% of the people that actually want to play

and have signed up playing here in both live drafts, as you said, coming up very soon,

and then the slow drafts start in just under a month now.

That is a lot of teams as you mentioned.

I remember like when we got to the point, the SFB 480 when there was 480 teams.

You know, for people playing a long time, it has expanded and expanded and expanded, but

amazing that it's in the 15th season.
