Summary
This is our very first Live Living Room Session we've had outside of Phoenix! While Lori and I were recently podcasting in Austin, we got to collaborate with Natalie Ellis, founder of Bossbabe and bring some of the Austin Girl Gang in the room with us for a deep conversation about the different seasons of life and business. I think this might be the most vulnerable I've ever gotten in our living room sessions. We went deep on what we wish we knew sooner when we were in the thick of our deepest winter seasons, and why it's important not to rush the current season you're in.

| 0:00.0 | Today's conversation came from another one of our live living room sessions. So these have been so |
| 0:06.6 | much fun to do this year with my good friend Lori Harder. And then once in a while, we bring in a special |
| 0:13.2 | guest. And this episode, we collaborated with the brilliant Natalie Ellis of Boss Babe. We actually |
| 0:20.4 | did an episode in Austin, Texas, where Natalie is |
| 0:23.9 | based. This was our very first living room sessions episode that we did somewhere other than |
| 0:29.3 | Phoenix. And it was so much fun having the Austin girl gang show up and support. And we had a |
| 0:36.4 | really, really deep conversation. This was a conversation that I think |
| 0:40.7 | every single person needs to hear. This is one that you're going to want to share with your girlfriends |
| 0:45.1 | who are also ambitious and going after big things because we all talked about the different |
| 0:50.1 | seasons of business and how while it might look on the surface like everyone is always just |
| 0:57.4 | riding this high, it might look like everyone is always winning. There are very real seasons |
| 1:03.4 | to anyone's success and it's actually not sustainable to always be in your winning, shining really bright season. |
| 1:11.9 | In order to sustain that, you need to go through seasons where you are growing on the inside, |
| 1:18.7 | where you are doing some of the deeper work, just like it's necessary in nature for things to grow in seasons. So we use that analogy to talk a little bit |
| 1:31.0 | about the seasons of business. We got so much great feedback, really amazing feedback from |
| 1:36.0 | the live audience when we recorded this one. So I have a feeling it's going to be one of your |
| 1:39.8 | favorites. So let's dive in. Welcome to Powerhouse Women, the podcast for women who know they are ready for more. I'm Lindsay Schwartz, your host and the founder of Powerhouse Women. |
| 1:55.0 | And together we'll unlock the confidence and clarity you are looking for to help you get out of your own way and |
| 2:02.6 | into action around your next big idea. |
| 2:05.6 | Hi everybody. |
| 2:09.6 | Hi! |
| 2:10.6 | So we're actually... |
