Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. Today I'm going to start a brand new series.

I've never taught this on TV before, but I've been studying a lot about Genesis chapter 26, and this is where Isaac sold in a year of famine and he

reaped a hundredfold return in one year that's phenomenal in any year but in a

year of famine that's exceptional and I've just been meditating on this applying it

to myself and I really felt like the

Lord told me that I needed to minister this to my TV audience, because, you know, in many ways,

there are some financial uncertainties. The interest rates are staying high and because of it. The housing

market is cooled off, and some people are struggling.

And yet the Lord has spoken to me. And back I remember during the Great Recession, 2008, 2009,

the stock market tanked 50 percent, and there were people that were committing suicide because they lost

so much money and the investors that they were representing.

So I think you could call that a famine.

It was a crisis situation.

And yet in that situation is when God told me to begin the biggest expansion in the history

of our ministry.

And over nine and a half years, we actually built $160 million worth of buildings, plus

we acquired some land and things like that, but $160 million debt free in nine and a half

years during the Great Recession.

It went contrary to everything.
