That was the text from my friend who clearly interviewed for a job and was told she'd hear back last week and she hasn't.

And I bet that right now you have a similar situation.

Maybe it's not a job. Maybe it didn't apply for a job. Maybe it's that you're waiting on something for someone for whatever.

You're waiting on someone and it is driving you crazy.

You're thinking, where are they? I don't know. Maybe they just need to approve your pitch or reply to your email or just say yes to hanging out.

But suddenly they're hard to reach. And in their absence, you make up stories.
