0:04.7	We're sort of negotiating with our parents our entire life.
0:07.6	I'm at some point, I said, you know, I may live a life of disappointment,
0:12.2	but this is maybe something they're never going to be happy with.
0:15.3	But I sort of stood in my truth at the end of the day,
0:18.4	you have to just stand in your power, you have to stand in your values.
0:22.5	When we talk less with these win-win negotiations,
0:25.2	it doesn't mean they get everything they want, you get everything you want.
0:29.5	It's truly compromise.
0:31.0	And I think we compromise to be successful.
0:33.2	You compromise only the things that really are not as meaningful to you,
0:37.0	but maybe more meaningful to the other person.
