Hey, I really think you're going to have a good conversation here.

You know, my favorite thing, or I should say,

what I missed most about gunsmithing school was I didn't get to talk to other people

who know more about guns than I do. And so I'm really looking forward to our chat today.

You know, I experienced the same thing when I went from working in-house as a true, you know,

I almost said office-bound editor, but I was an editor-in-chief

of shooting times for four years, and then I transitioned to writing full-time. Living wherever I

wanted, back in the Rocky Mountains is a beautiful thing, but I missed the same thing you mentioned,

just swinging into somebody else's office to ask their opinion

about a problem or a new concept that was coming through the industry or whatever. There's a lot

of synergy to be had in rubbing shoulders with other, shall we say, experts in your field of

passion, isn't there?
