Cruising. I'm your host Matt Hodgeberg, and this is episode number 507. The last day of the cruise,

it doesn't matter what you do, it's not going to be great, but there are some ways to make it a

little bit easier to deal with, and today I wanted to talk about those. Here we go.

So I was running across some old articles and forum posts, and I saw a post actually from

one of our message board writers, Travelers, a great resource of information.

And Traveler wrote this post actually in 2019, but I thought it was kind of interesting,

and I wanted to talk about it this week because he has some tips how to make disembarkation date easier to deal with.

And I thought that I would go tip by tip here to share my thoughts on how valid or unvalid it is.

And keeping in mind, by the way, that I think having met traveler and knowing traveler fairly well, I feel like a lot of his tips are very, very good, just more of my experience versus his than anything else. So I wanted to share with you how to make disembarkation day just a little bit

easier to deal with because after the end of the day, I have yet to find a disembarkation day

in which it's like, you know, sunshines and rainbows and excitement. It's not. It's the last day of the cruise, last morning of the cruise. They're just no matter how leisurely you approach it, it just always seems to be just a

not so great experience. Anyway, we're going to go bullet by bullet in his post here on the message

boards, which by the way, if you're not part of the welcome blog message boards, I really do

recommend checking them out. I mean, I know this is a self-serving

shameless plug for the message boards, but not only do I read and post in there, I think it's a really

good resource. I learn things in the message boards just as much as anybody else. So I think you

could really benefit from being a part of the community. Just go to realcom and look on message boards

in our main many. All right.

His first tip, and by the way, he said, post our last cruise, I thought of several ideas to make the disembarkation day more bearable.
