| 1:15.0 | And yet it never lives up to its promise. |

| 1:20.0 | Sin always leads to pain and misery. |
| 1:24.4 | And since consequences are not erased by God forgiving us. |
| 1:29.9 | If I gossip about someone, I can apologize to them and ask their forgiveness and they can forgive |
| 1:36.6 | me, but they're going to still wonder whether I'm trustworthy and they're not going to share things with me and confidence again, |
| 1:45.1 | that's one of the consequences of the sin of gossip. |
| 1:49.8 | Or if I embarrass my wife and hurt her feelings. |
| 1:53.6 | She can forgive me for that. |
| 1:55.9 | But there's still hurt in her heart. |
