So in today's episode, we're going to talk about keeping your front entrance and front room clean. And this isn't going to be a step by step talk through, so to speak. However, we do encourage you to be working in the most

visible area of your home while we discuss this topic. But I think some of our front room,

successes, and fails will provide you with the

motivation you need. So let's get right into the episode. It's time to gear up for your cleaning

session, maybe put your hair in a bun, light a candle, start a wax warmer while Jessica and I talk to you a little bit.

So Jessica. Keep your kids from attacking you.

So Jessica, what are some of your non-negotiable daily tasks that you try to do to keep your front

room presentable? I always do a pickup,

first of all, of everything you can see when you first open your door, which in my house,

my house is tiny, so that's most of my front area of my house. And if you live in a small

apartment or a small house or a very open floor plan, you could probably relate to that.

But basically, you can't see my dishes because I have an island.

So you can see my island, my couch, my living area, and my TV stand is kind of the focal point and my couch.

So I make sure that my couch is clean.

My TV stand area is clear.

There's no toys on the floor and my island is clean and clear of anything.

I try to keep little decorations on it to keep people from using it as a place to just dump their

wallets and keys and stuff.
