and disciple them digitally. Let's dive into this episode. I want to speak to you on our day three of prayer

challenge about drawing near to God and what it means to draw near to God, how to draw near to God,

and some of the key components of drawing near to God. I do want to highlight

that we don't get cold toward God. We grow cold toward God. The Bible says because of lawlessness

because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold in Matthew 2412.

So love of many grows cold, which means that your passion for God is not going to be stable.

It's not going to stay on the same level.

It must be, you must add fuel for the fire

to grow. If you don't add fuel automatically, you don't get close to God. You don't get close to God.

You don't get close to God by default. So think of hot water. If you made water hot, it does not stay hot.

That water is going to gradually with time grow cold. Time is not going to help you to draw near to God.

Meaning if you're just going to take time you're going to by time get colder

and not draw near to the Lord. You can have as much of God as you want but no more than what you're

willing to pursue. If you're not pursuing God you're not going to have His presence in your life.

People who have God's presence, people who walk in God's power, they're not special people.

They are people who pursue Him. If you read in the Bible, you will see a constant reference to climb the hill of the Lord.

You know, at my soul thirsts for God.

James says, draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

Jesus says, if any man is to follow me, he must deny himself.
