short entertaining bite-sized lessons on how to read tarot. For today's

episode our topic is how to do a basic one-card reading. So go ahead and grab your

decks and let's begin.

So let's start out by talking about why would you do a one-card reading?

After all, you have 78 cards in that deck.

Here's why. It's the easiest way to get started. Look, when you're brand

new to Taro, you do not need to do any complicated spreads. I recommend starting as simple as

possible.

Plus, you can give an effective tarot reading

with just one card.

You really don't need all 78 to get information. I love to go simple, you know, and I find for myself when I

simplify things often the answer is way more direct. I also highly recommend a daily draw for tarot beginners. This is a way to get familiar with the deck and also to get in some solid practice. If you pick a card in the morning you can journal your

interpretations and then later reflect on how your interpretation worked or

didn't. Remember you learn from your mistakes so don't get discouraged if you don't get it right.

You might find after going over your notes new interpretations that might make more sense.

Or you might find that you are actually really totally right. It's really a lot of fun. So I highly, highly, highly recommend that you do a daily draw.
