THE THESIS: The Party’s elites have built themselves a new Tower of Babble and live firmly within its walls. From their perches, they broadcast their lofty sounding phrases filled with sound and fury. But, in their grand constriction, they have destroyed their ability to speak truth. God provides lessons on defeating liars like them.

The Lord, Jesus used His superior knowledge and love of The Word--for Jesus was and is The Word--to defeat Satan. Notice that The Lord refused to engage any attempt by the Devil to twist scripture.
Matthew 4:1-11 - Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness
4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
By living in the Word of God, we have been granted the power (through The Holy Spirit and the Lord, Jesus) to utterly demolish lies that stand against God.

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey.
