cleaning your house. Thanks for joining me in today's episode. I'm going to talk you through decluttering a bedroom.

In case you're new to the show, this is a show where I talk you through cleaning your house.

Most episodes are about an hour long. And in those episodes, we do a little bit in each area of your home.

However, this is a specialized episode for decluttering a bedroom.

Maybe you want to clean your own bedroom or maybe you want to prepare a bedroom for guests.

Now, you may be wondering, how am I going to get this

done in 20 minutes? You may not, okay? If your bedroom really needs attention or the bedroom

you'll be working on really needs a lot of attention, you're not going to get it done. However,

what I am promising you is that you're going to walk away with a game plan.

I'm going to at least get you started on it.

So let's get right into the episode.

Before you start decluttering the room that you'll be working in, you're going to need to gather up some supplies. You're going to

need some trash bags, and then you're going to need some donation bags or boxes. And if you're like

me, if you're using bags for all of it, your donation bags are going to look different than your

trash bags or you're going to get confused. However, you may have a lot of boxes lying around.

If you've been ordering gifts from Amazon or wherever and then putting those boxes out in the garage now might be the time

to put those to use and put some items into those boxes. So whether you want to deal in bags, boxes,

you want a system to where you have at least three categories. You have trash

that you're throwing away. If your room's super clean, you won't relate to the trash part,

okay? But you may have trash, so, and you may be surprised about the trash that you find once you get into the

project, but trash bag, donation bag, and then the third category could be something that you're
