Are you separating all of your organic waste from the regular trash?

In layman's terms, are you composting yet?

If you're a city resident and you're not composting,

well, you are supposed to be. That's right, since October, all residents are supposed to have

been separating all of their food scraps from the trash, but data shows that less than 5% of

the compostable waste is making it into those brown bins.

So in order to make more people comply, starting tomorrow, the city will start issuing fines

to property owners who aren't composting.
