0:07.0	I've been with my wife for 30 years. We had both arrived in England to study and we had both left pretty bad relationships behind she was going through a divorce. I'd made a mess of the
0:24.9	previous relationship I had and we ended up sitting next to each other on a bus from Oxford to
0:30.9	Stratford upon Avign see some Shakespeare play.
0:33.4	It's a long and windy road and we've been dating like maybe two or three dates.
0:38.0	It's really, really early on.
0:40.5	And we just somehow fell into this conversation about what are we up for?
0:44.8	I was 25, she was 36, so we were kind of old enough to go,
0:49.5	we were to figure this out.
0:50.9	We're not kids anymore, we've got a bit of experience, let's actually
0:54.6	try and do this, so we actually had this conversation. But we're like, here's what I've learned
0:58.8	from the relationships that I've screwed up. I have a way of disappearing into my own head and taking that other person for
1:04.8	granted and she's like great because I will kill you if that happens and I'm
1:09.6	like that's really helpful to understand she's like that just won't happen on my watch.

1:15.2	Very hard to pull that off with Marcella.
1:19.2	But we, before we had any of this structure,
1:21.6	before I'd figured any of this out, I just kind of got lucky or maybe desperate because I really fancied her.
1:26.5	I'm like I don't want to screw this one up. I screwed up the last few. I want this to be great.

1:34.6	good date and the bad date questions that you're talking about which is like what can we
1:37.6	learn from the past because both for the good and the bad dates, those patterns will repeat.
