0:12.0	But the Grinch who lived just north of Whoville did not.
0:17.0	The Grinch hated Christmas, the whole Christmas season.
0:22.2	Now, please don't ask why, no one quite knows the reason.
0:27.3	It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right.
0:31.2	It could be perhaps that his shoes were too tight.
0:35.5	But I think that the most likely reason of all may have been that his heart was two
0:41.3	sizes too small.
0:43.3	But whatever the reason, his heart or his shoes, he stood there on Christmas Eve,
0:52.3	hating the whos, staring down from his cave with a sour,
0:57.0	grinchy frown at the warm, lighted windows below in their town.
1:03.0	For he knew every who down in Whoville beneath was busy now, hanging a mistletoe reef.
1:12.4	And they're hanging their stockings, he snarled with a sneer.
1:16.6	Tomorrow is Christmas.
1:18.7	It's practically here.
1:21.2	Then he growled with the Grinch fingers nervously drumming,
1:24.9	I must find some way to stop Christmas from coming.
1:30.3	But tomorrow, he knew.
1:33.3	All the Who girls and boys would wake bright and early, they'd rush for their toys.
1:39.3	And then, oh, the noise, noise, the noise, noise, noise, noise!
1:47.5	That's the one thing he hated.
