Summary

Talk to Samson here: davidsamsonpodcast.com Today’s word of the day is ‘36 hours’ as in the World Series as in first pitch as in final preparations as in what are the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers doing. Let’s discuss how teams plan for Game 1. What are the nerves like? What are the players and coaches doing? (13:20) Is Craig Counsell to the Mets a lock? We all saw it coming when David Stearns got the Mets job. Interesting. (19:00) What about the Brewers? They need a new manager. And now they need a stadium bill to pass. Oh boy! (30:00) Review: Savior Complex. (38:10) The NBA season started for most teams last night. 1 game. That’s it. And the Bulls lost. No big deal right… wrong! The Chicago Bulls already held a player-only meeting! (43:00) The NBA All-Star Game is reversing course and going back to a standard format. No more draft. No more Elam Ending. It’s East vs. West.
