My name is Taylor Rockwell, as you can guess, since I am the voice doing the introduction, Daryl Grove is not with me today. Instead, I'm talking to a different Englishman, still an Englishman, but a different one. It's Carl Anka. Carl writes about Southampton for the athletic. He has written previously about Manchester United for the Athletic. He has several different podcasts. We talk about those as well, but we spend a very large chunk of the show going deep on Southampton, how they turn their season around, what Haas and Hoodle brings to the table, what the future may hold for the team, including how or how not West McKinney fits in there. We also get into Manchester United. What's gone wrong with Davida-Hia? Carl has some specific theories about why things aren't going well, but what could sort of change there or not change there, who they should go after, what players might not work out in the long run for Olegunder Solshire. There's also conversations in there about analytics and the way they're utilized by managers, both in terms of how they can effectively get the best out of their current squads, but then also how they can go about signing new players based on some of those stats. And am I correct in saying that you are a wrestling fan?

Oh, yeah. I think I'm currently lapsed, but yeah, I love wrestling so much.

Started off watching wrestling when I was, I want to say six or seven, watching mostly WCCW because it was on free TV in the United Kingdom.

And then I moved on to WWE, Attitude Era, Stone Cold, the Rock.

The first big storyline I remember was who ran over Stone Cold as a kid.
