The city of Seattle has a $250 million problem. That’s the difference between how much the city is projected to collect next year and what it’s projected to spend.
This week, Mayor Bruce Harrell delivered his proposal to deal with that hard reality. Now it’s up to the city council to finalize the plan before the end of the year.
Seattle Now producer Clare McGrane dug into why the city ended up in this position and the various solutions city leaders have suggested.
