Hello, I'm Dan Bardell and welcome to the England show from The Athletic.

Coming up today, we start our build up to the hotly

anticipated clash between England and Scotland at Wembley on Friday. To help me do just that, I'm

joined today by The Athletics, Dom Fyfield, and then Jordan Campbell and Kear and Devlin.

Jordan and Kearham both write about Scotland and Scottish football for the Athletics, so it'll be them

teaming up against Dom and myself.

Dom's a senior writer at the Athletic with an eye on London football but today he's going to be Team England.

So let's reflect on how both nations have started Euro 2020 so far.

Kieran, I was actually, we were just talking off camera. I was quite surprised by how downbeat you were after that game.

I actually thought there was a lot of positives for Scotland.

I politely disagree.

They were quite unlucky, obviously, you know, they, I think, pretty much in every expected goals metric, they were better.
