Hello again, I'm Tom Gresham, welcome to gun talk, whether she could be with us today

we're going to be talking about what do you think we're going to talk about gun talk

about guns and ammo and of course gun safety of course this is the gun safety that we

understand people teaching people to use gun safety that's that's gun safety teaching

people to store gun safety that's gun safety banning guns it's not gun safety it's gun

banning even though the gun ban industry wants to reliable gun confiscation of gun banning

has gun safety they also use the dismissive term common sense common sense gun

control laws common sense gun safety laws when you throw common sense in front of it what

you're doing is you're being dismissive you're saying that if you don't agree with me you

don't have common sense and so it goes just about two hours ago a release was just sent out

from a group of U.S. senators a bipartisan group working on more gun control laws and yes

a number of Republicans have signed on to this they say they have enough Republicans to get this

passed now ignore what the house just passed that's a whole bunch of wish list from the gun

banners but this is a list of things that could get passed might get passed not necessarily

will get passed because the devil is always in the details there's some there's some things

in here that probably are not terrible in terms of helping with mental health some things in

here about helping maybe requiring due process if the state's going to have a red flag law

then we should require due process where you get to represent yourself or even have a lawyer
