Not because I've been trying to neglect you guys but it's been more about the fact that life happens sometimes

back in January and I haven't shared this with you I don't at least I don't think I have

my mother she was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

And we had just gotten done with Christmas with the family.

Everybody was in town and it was a good time.

And then she went and got checked out.

The crazy thing is that she had a colonoscopy done only about two years beforehand.

And then, you know, the growth that they took out of

for coal was like a 10 year growth so they weren't quite sure how that got there I

don't know either but nonetheless it was a downhill battle for the whole time I mean

she just really couldn't get a break you know I was taking a lot of trips up to my hometown where my mom and dad still live together.

And they're married.

They've been married for 55 years.

So I went up there for a long time.

I've been able to spend a lot of time with her trying to help her get better, even though

ultimately that's not what happened. This past Monday,

she did pass away June 3rd at about 1.45 p.m. So I was there by her side. Then I took a week off
