Now, first, we should say Angel City shared an update that Savvy King underwent a successful surgery Tuesday to address a heart abnormality.

King, quote, is now resting and recovering shredded by her family and her prognosis is excellent, Angel City said in that statement,

love and support from Angel City players, staff, fans, and community, as well as soccer fans across the country, King's family wrote in a statement that was also released by the team on Tuesday.

Now, the NWSL Players Association released a statement on Wednesday that they want to see changes in the NWSEL's policy when it comes to canceling or suspending or postponing matches.
