didn't say this to you while we were doing our sort of pre-show chat. I wanted to sincerely

thank you for basically giving me two weeks plus off from

the total soccer show while I did the radiation therapy and just absolutely handling everything

so I didn't have to worry about a thing. And I had a bunch of shows to listen to. So thank you.

You know my instinct is to be self-deprecating and make it all into a joke. But I'll just say

you're welcome, buddy. I'm glad that you were able to recuperate. I do appreciate the traditional Daryl Grove. I'll be fine. It will have no effect. I'll be good to go tomorrow. And then the slow realization of reality setting in. But yeah, I'm glad that you're able to recover. And I'm mostly glad that you are now here doing the hello and welcome instead of me

honestly a lot of the other stuff like chemotherapy and this and that like they've warned me about

side effects and I've been like yeah but you don't know me I've got lots of energy I'm good and I've

mostly you know ridden through it this time everything they said would happen it happened

fatigue nausea the whole thing i've been more asleep than

awake for the last two weeks i have noticed that because generally speaking you are very quick to respond

to a text message and last week it was a little bit like oh i i bet i bet my buddy's napping right now

oh yeah and it is worth noting for people who like aren't as't as familiar with you, Darrell, that, like,

Darrell doesn't show the symptoms, like, obviously aside from, like, the weight loss and things like that.
