I am just surviving, trying to understand what is going on in the NFL landscape. I know the league year, the new league year is upon us, but it's, it's crazy seeing some of the names that are being thrown around. You appreciate what I'm working with here, Buck, by the way. episode we had ret uh with us on that one today i wanted to

kind of go more the free agent route the team route um in some conversations that uh that i find

fascinating including some really uh recent developments right before we came on uh first of all i want

to hit you on the jo tony trade uh i did rich rich's show this. He sent me a text this morning. It was like, this doesn't make any sense to us. Like, you got to help us. Why would they do this? So I did a little research on it. And then I want to get your thoughts on the backside of it. So I know the obvious question. You just lost a Super Bowl. your offense and I got destroyed by a four-man rush with the Eagles.

So why? of it. So I know the obvious question, you just lost a Super Bowl. Your offensive line got

destroyed by a four-man rush with the Eagles. So why in the world would you get rid of one of your best offensive linemen and Joe Tooney? And, you know, for a minimal return, you know, you got a pick in 26, I think coming back there. Wait, I think it was a four, maybe in 26 coming back to them. So here's what I laid out. You've got five starters along the offensive line, right? They've got three taken care of. You've got Creed Humphrey's a 25-year-old center. Your right guard and Trace Smith is 25 years old. You've just franchised him. I'd imagine you're going to get a long-term extension done with him. And then you've got Joanne Taylor at 27.

So center, right guard, right tackle, three of the five, young guys.

You could even say guys that maybe are just getting into their prime, you know, truthfully.

Joe Tunney's 32 years old.

He was going to cost $15.5 million.
