Child Show podcast. This week's guest is such an amazing guy. I actually first

met him probably 12 years ago when he worked for the government in

the United Kingdom he's one of the people who set up the office of low emission

vehicles Olav which is an, a kind of government organization that has encouraged

and very greatly influenced the infrastructure, the manufacturing of electric vehicles in this country. the They're very, very involved with all those things really early on.

Electrification of buses and public transport of delivery vehicles.

Michael has been involved in all that.

So I should introduce him, Michael Hurwitz, who now works for TFL, has done for many years.

TFL is transport for London, so that is the London mayoral office, so he, his boss is the mayor of London,

Sadek Khan who we've interviewed in fact on fully charged

and so he's involved in maintaining the transport network in London. Well clearly this year has been an extraordinary

turnaround. The first time in the history of transport in London where the numbers, all the numbers have plummeted.

You know, there's still, he actually mentioned it, I believe.

There's still very few people using the London Tube Network or the subway, the underground underground whatever you want to call it.

There's still less than half I think on the buses.

Taxes are busy when they are busy but there's very few people around still so it's this year is exceptional

but there are immense moves afoot as you will hear in the transformation of how we move

ourselves and how we move goods around one of the Europe's only

mega city which London is regardless of anything else London has a population of

over 10 million which makes it a mega city and you always I

always think of sort of London Berlin Amsterdam Paris Madrid you know being
