Summary

Pete Carroll provided a friendly warning to John Schneider on his exit. The message was clear, "be careful what you wish for." Schneider took over the top football role and proceeded to make one good move after another to build back the Seahawks into contention. I share insights from my most ambitious writing and research project to date, which you can find at hawkblogger.com: https://www.hawkblogger.com/2025/12/the-quiet-genius-of-john-schneider-how-the-most-doubted-nfl-offseason-became-a-masterpiece.html

1:32.4

back to contention within two years. And so it is a mammoth set of stories that went into how

1:43.7

the Seahawks got here.

1:45.5

I could have tried to tell all of them,

1:59.0

But it's a pretty cool story.
