0:10.1	Periodically on enjoying the journey, we are going to be sharing a legacy message from the archive.

0:58.0	new release book edited by his grandson. Devotional writings from the pen of Warren Weersby. It's been such
1:04.5	a blessing to me. And about the same time, something was put into my hands that I had not heard before. It was a single message
1:12.8	given by Warren Wearsby from the pulpit of the Highland Park Baptist Church and Tennessee
1:17.4	Temple Schools. At the time that he gave it, he was there for a series of meetings. And this
1:23.4	particular message comes from James Chapter 3. It's a powerful message about the way God works in and through the life of a true believer.
1:32.1	I hope you'll take the time to follow along as we come to the Word of God together
1:35.0	and listen to this Bible message from Dr. Warren Weirsby. James, a servant of God to the 12 tribes which are scattered abroad greeting.
1:56.0	There are five chapters to this little letter, and in each of these chapters, James is telling us a mark of maturity.
2:06.7	The whole theme of this letter is the practical faith of the perfect man. And by perfect, James means
2:14.0	mature. And so those of us who want to mature in the Lord need James to help to guide us.
2:21.4	Now, let me review once again. I'm a great believer in repetition. For me to repeat is not grievous
2:27.9	to me, but for you it is needful. Chapter one, the mature man is patient in testing. Chapter two, the mature man is patient in testing.
