On this episode of the Dr. Tina show, I'm going to share something very personal with you.

If you follow me over on Instagram, you may have noticed that I have not posted anything

on my main page in over two months. And that's because I have been in a bit of a pain trap.

And I know I've talked about this a lot in the past. If you followed me for some time,

you know that I struggle with chronic pain. It is pronounced sometimes. And I got into a pain trap loop that I could

not get out of. It was awful. And it's consumed my life this entire summer. I also was going

through a bit of, I guess we could call it a midlife crisis. It's more like a

midlife career crisis. And I'll talk about that a little bit later in the show. And I think

you're going to want to stick around for it because it may resonate with you. But let's get back

to the pain trap because I'm finally out of it. And it was, I might cry a little bit.

This one was a doozy. I finally got out of it recently.

And I thought, you know what, I'm going to talk about this because I can imagine that many of you

have been stuck in this pain trap too. And if you know, if you've been in it, you know what that

means. You know what that means.

You know what that term means. It's a term I've come up with myself, but it is truly a pain trap.

Because once you're in it, you're like stuck in this downward spiral and you cannot get out.

And you try and you try and you try. And as I get older, the things that have helped me out in the

past are not helping as often and as

well. And so I can't rely on my good old tried and true tools to always get myself out of it.

So I want to share with you what I did this time because this one was probably one of the worst

ones. And I really didn't think I was going to make it out of this. Like I was getting down in the dumps of this one and I thought, I don't know.

I don't know how I'm going to live like this.
