How high can U.S. rates go?

Hi everyone, welcome to this Friday extended ReelVision deli briefing with me today is Dominique

Hi Dominique, it's great to have you with us.

Hi Maggie, thank you so much for having me.

So it's great to sort of catch up on this Friday and wrap up what has been sort of an

interesting week we had we saw today U.S. stocks rally to close off the week as the 10

year yield retreated just a little bit below 4%, but it came against a backdrop of conflicting

signals from Fed officials once again.

What's your sense of where we are when it comes to monetary policy?

Okay, we are at a juncture where the data is basically pushing in the direction of the

roads who are in the minority in the committee, but we've seen some very strong prints with inflation

revision data revisions and there's no question that the U.S.

economy is not slowing, it's actually picking up pace and we are seeing everywhere that

the monetary tightening we've had so far is not really biting, so the Fed has to reconsider

and what's interesting is that this week we've had a dove like Bostick, for instance,
