episode I want to share with you the single most important truth that I've ever come across regarding marriage and the development of a healthy relationship with your spouse.

Now that is a big promise but I think it's going to deliver and I think

one of the central issues in some way almost every single time. Everybody this is common to the human

condition and to relationships and it just happens and so we have to we have to know how to deal with it how to manage this maxim as I'm about to unpack.

So though relational dynamics will differ significantly from one relationship and person to another,

well this maxim is often the central source of almost every given conflict.

And I think if you're aware of this reality and you know how to appropriately respond to it, we'll impact some of those ways today that you can respond to it,

I think it's going to help you build a more lasting fruitful marriage.

Even in the worst case scenarios if you're able to act accordingly on this maxim you can turn a toxic relationship into a life-giving one.

Right, I've seen relationships that are on the brink of divorce, they're horrible.

People hate each other and they'll tell you that in counseling.

I hate him. He hates me.

Right, I've seen those relationships restored when people unpack and start to

understand this vital maxim, this vital principle. So yes, it's that important.
