I was never afraid of death. Hunts Point had drug dealers, stick up kids, hit men, prostitutes. If you ain't got a hundred thousand in your stash, you broke. He said, yo, you have a potential to be a king out here. And I told him, I don't want to be a king. I want to be a prince on my life. My guest today is one of the

most famous dealers in New York City history, the one and only Peter's shoe. In the late 80s and

early 90s, Peter was making millions of dollars a month dealing out of his headquarters in the

South Bronx. This guy was the real deal, and nobody did it better than Peter. He did his prison time,

never cooperated, and to this day, Peter remains one of the most

respected gangsters of his era.

Well, he did work down there.

But what it was, he met my mother in the bar.

My mom's owned a bar in the Bronx.

And that's how he got where. So she invited him for dinner.
