Summary

We’re living in extraordinary times (which is why you’ll notice that we’re still taking a break from our regular format). A world of great uncertainty, division, fear, and sadness. A few weeks ago when we spoke to Dr. Reef Karim, we discussed the need to control what we’re exposed in terms of media and messages due to the depressive impact on mood. The flip side of that is who should we talk to that can help keep our spirits high and our thoughts hopeful. We decided to talk to someone who Mike believes is one of the most positive people he’s ever known: Jeremy Scott of Jeremy Scott Fitness. Jeremy is an author (of the best-selling book Make Success Mandatory), a gym owner, a sponsored athlete with Reebok, and a contributor for Men’s Health. In fact, you may have seen him on the cover of a number of magazines and as the face of a number of brands on TV. We discussed his down-to-earth view on why we should find the good in our current situation, and some thoughts about what group training gyms might look like in the future.
