let's have a recap of what happened this week in Ambridge.

This week was brought to you by people being forced to do jobs for which they are profoundly

unsuited. We began the week with Kenton and Jolene chasing that sodding sound effect around the pub again.

Now they're not even bothering to play the sound effect, they're just talking about it. And from

that we're supposed to care. Well, I don't. Lillian had invited Linda over for brunch, and when she turned up, Linda was in the garden and said she wanted to work up an appetite first. Blimey, if someone invites me over for a meal, whatever it is, I practically arrive with my knife and fork in my hand. More than half an hour's delay, and I'm opening kitchen cupboards and asking loudly if there's anything I can do. More catering woes when Tom, interfering

again, sent Adam, whose skill set extends to putting carrots in a box to help Fallon run an extremely

busy tea shop. He became so over-caffeinated having to drink all the orders he'd stuffed up that he actually sounded quite lively for a moment.

Georgie, in preparation for his time in jug, was distributing all his worldly goods and passed on his drone business to Brad, who seemed a somewhat ham-fisted choice as an artful videographer in that he nearly chucked the thing into a tree and he's also a full-time student
