You know if you wanted to get into a school and you get rejected

That's a bummer right you feel it

Your first love breaks up with you. You have plans to take Susie to the dance and she says no or to prom or to homecoming.

Those are painful moments in life. You lose your job. That's awful. You feel that.

It leaves them. But when you lose a loved one because they're murdered.

You feel like I can live with a heart attack and a stroke,

even an accident, but a murder. a And then you see that other people who are not harmed by it but are in a position to determine

what should be done about it.

Yeah, no big deal because it wasn't their loved one.

A grieving Houston mother is demanding changes to the bond system after the career criminal charged with murdering her son is given a $300,000 bond, which means

30,000 bucks and this person's back out on the streets. The credit KPRC TV.

The shoes I'm walking in right now is very heavy.

And I just don't understand.

Tamika Moore says her life shattered just before Christmas last year when her 34 year old son,

Chariq Hoskins was shot and killed outside of a restaurant on Emancipation Avenue.

Hoskins has since been laid to rest, but Moore says it was like a wound opened up

when his suspected killer 32-year-old Cedric Denzel Brooks was given a $300,000 bond.

My son being the victim, he was murdered on December the 18th by someone who's a habitual

criminal.

The Texas Department of Public Safety shows Brooks has convictions

dating back to 2009 for multiple crimes including criminal trespass
