Today we're going to talk about how Jesus dealt with doubt.

Now, when I say this, I don't mean how Jesus dealt with his own doubts.

I mean how Jesus dealt with people who came to him during the course of his three-year ministry

and proclaimed a doubt or demonstrated a doubt or had a concern about the certainty of the Christian worldview

or the certainty of the things that Jesus had said. There were people who came to him over the

period of those three

years who actually expressed some doubt, some hesitancy. And I want to talk about how Jesus responded

to that because I think all of us, if we're honest with ourselves, at some point in our lives,

have had some concerns about whether or not what we believe as Christians is true. That is,

even for someone like me,

who has been, you know, from the very beginning as a Christian, very evidentially based,

I mean, I took a hard look at every claim for and against Christianity before I ever became

a Christian. But even having taken that approach, I can tell you that there are times when I also

have to wrestle with my doubts.
