If it's in any way possible to feel good about a loss, I guess this is the one?

Chiefs went on the road to Jacksonville and took on a

four and one, now four and one, Jaguars team and lose 31 28 in a night where, boy, if you were

just watching two teams, one on one yours, you were watching one team just dominate the other, especially

statistically. And an offense that now that we know, it was the Kansas City Chiefs and those white uniforms

out on the field, looked an awful lot like the creative, interesting, exceptional offense

of about three or four years ago, you'd feel really good about where your team is.

Patrick Gohm had maybe the best day by a quarterback in the NFL

this year, except for the one play that ultimately was the difference in the game, and that is

the pick six, passing for over 300 yards, having 60 yards rushing, a rushing touchdown,

a passing touchdown, a very versatile game for Patrick Mahomes, who had some incompletions on

the last drive of the game, but before that was nearly flawless, except for the big pick.

Now, you can't have the big pick.

I get it.

But it was almost offset by what happened earlier in the game by Trevor Lawrence when

Nick Bolton knocked the ball loose at the goal line and the Chiefs recovered it.

So the Chiefs went down and scored right after that on a long 98-yard touchdown drive.

So those things sort of offset in this game, but it was just stunning to watch the difference

statistically in this ball game as the Chiefs just went up and down the field, almost the

entire game, and you left yourself at the end of this one, scratching

...
