You know, getting by.

I think, uh, I don't know where to begin here's what

here's what's on my mind I saw an interview with Deborah Burks, the White House Task Force coordinator.

She said basically we're at a point where around 100,000 deaths is pretty much the trajectory we're on minimum. Does that line up with your sense? I mean is that.

Yeah, like that is exactly that's sort of the lower end of what's been projected for a month.

It's just we didn't want to put exact numbers on it, right?

But when you had a roughly 1% case fatality rate

on a disease that was going to sweep across the nation over the course of a year and in fact 40 to 60 percent of people.

Yeah, it's obviously a function of how overwhelmed their health care system gets, but that's not a high estimate at all.

And what's troubling is that Dr. Burks, Dr. Fauchy, and others were, weren't saying that earlier.

Honestly, I think that those numbers are actually important to throw around

as best you know them at the time because others, other estimates put the number at 1.5

million and 1.5 million deaths in the US. Yeah and that I mean that's if we did

this thing where we opened everything back up and let it go.

And so the thing she said was that it's going to be around 100,000 if social distancing is practiced perfectly.

What does that mean?

Like we're not doing that presumably yet, right?
